I qualified at Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School in 1985. My Junior Surgical Training was in North West London, Hertfordshire and Birmingham and my Senior Surgical Training and research was in North West London and the Royal London Hospital.

I am a Consultant General Surgeon with an interest in upper gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary surgery with a specific interest in the laparoscopic treatment of disease. I have a background in laparoscopic safety and surgical training. My areas of interest include: gallstones and gallbladder disease; hernias - inguinal, femoral, umbilical, incisional, epigastric; management of groin pain; Gastroesophageal reflux (GORD) and fundoplication. I am an expert witness for medical negligence within my field of practice.
