I specialise in joint problems (rotator cuff pain, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome), complex pain such as fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, JIA (juvenile idiopathic arthritis), gout, polymyalgia rheumatica, vasculitis, lupus (SLE), sjogren’s and osteoporosis.

I graduated from King’s College London and completed my post-graduate medical training in London over 15 years ago. Having worked at specialist units including, Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, St Georges Hospital and King’s College London I have developed expertise in all aspects of rheumatology.

I have secured funding for research (NIHR Greenshoots grant) which have enabled patients to be enrolled in studies in rheumatoid arthritis, lupus and vasculitis. I have also secured funding to support service development to establish a adolescent and young adult clinic at King’s College Hospital and psychology support for the rheumatology department at Epsom and St Helier Hospital. Part of this work was shortlisted for a BSR Best Practice award in 2022 “empowering adolescents and young adults with chronic inflammatory conditions across South London, Kent, Surrey and Sussex and improving holistic outcomes.” I am also a GMC registered educator and actively develop the educational needs of undergraduate and postgraduate trainees and other medical staff.

Additional roles have included: British Society of Rheumatology elected representative for London, Royal College of Physicians Speciality Advisor for London, Regional Champion (London) for HQIP National Early Inflammatory Arthritis Audit, Clinical Lead for Rheumatology at Epsom and St Helier’s University NHS Trust.
