Dr Patel treats commonly treats all aspects of emergency medicine and general internal medicine, all aspects of Gastroenterology and Hepatology including: inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis), irritable bowel syndrome, bowel cancer screening, acid related disorders, functional gut disorders, chronic liver disease, gastrointestinal cancers, pancreatobiliary disorders, acute and chronic liver disease, viral hepatitis, iron deficiency anaemia, weight loss, chronic constipation, general medicine and clinical nutrition.
Tertiary centre experience in the inpatient and outpatient care of complex inflammatory bowel disease patients. Also enteral and parenteral nutrition experience in teaching Hospitals.
