I studied at St Bartholomew's Hospital, London completing my studies in 1991. I received Cardiology registrar training in south west London before becoming a research registrar in Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance at the Royal Brompton Hospital in 1998. I joined St George's as a consultant cardiologist in 2004. I have held positions as the Clinical Lead for Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery at St George’s Hospital and was the Training Programme Director for South West London Cardiology between 2009-2014.
I hold level 3 certification in Cardiac Magnetic Resonance and manage the CMR service at St George’s. I have special interests in ischaemic heart disease, myocarditis, valvular heart disease and advanced cardiac imaging.
