I have experience in a broad range of general cardiac disorders with a specialist interest in coronary artery disease, its prevention, diagnosis and management.
I specialise in percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) procedures which allows minimally invasive management of coronary disease, with a specific interest in the use of adjunctive physiology and imaging technology to optimise procedural outcomes. Furthermore, I also specialise in the diagnosis and management of microvascular angina ('small-vessel' coronary disease).
I read medicine at St Bartholomew's and The Royal London Medical School and completed my general and interventional cardiology training in London. I was awarded two research fellowships by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) and Heart Research UK (HRUK) to complete a PhD in coronary physiology at St Thomas' Hospital, King's College London. I completed my interventional cardiology training in complex coronary intervention at King's College and St Thomas' Hospitals, London. In addition to this I completed an international coronary fellowship at Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney, Australia.
