My current clinical practice encompasses all general dermatology including eczema, psoriasis, skin cancer and allergy. I was appointed to Southampton University NHS Trust to complement the current research interest in inflammatory skin disease.
I undertook medical training at St Bartholomew's Medical College, University of London. I trained in general medicine in London and undertook dermatology training in Oxford where I subsequently carried out my DPhil at Christ Church College, University of Oxford.
I have been chair of the British Society for Investigative Dermatology and am president for the British Society of Medical Dermatology. I am an internationally recognised speaker, am widely published and am the author of two books.
