I am an upper limb consultant surgeon who specialises in treating shoulder, elbow and hand conditions, using ‘keyhole’ and ‘open’ surgical techniques.
I was appointed to the University of Southampton Foundation Trust in 2016, where I offer a tertiary referral service to the surrounding regions. My surgical passion is arthroscopic surgery and I am currently working on combining this with my research passion of stem cells.
I specialise in upper limb surgery.
Shoulder: Rotator cuff impingement and tears, shoulder instability, acromioclavicular pathology, shoulder arthritis, complex shoulder trauma.
Elbow: Tennis/Golfers elbow, ulnar nerve compression, elbow arthritis including arthroscopy/replacement, complex elbow trauma.
Hand: Carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, Dupuytrens contracture, arthritis of the base of thumb, complex hand trauma.
I am currently the orthopaedic undergraduate lead for the University of Southampton.
