I qualified in 2002 from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Hospital in London, whilst balancing a professional rugby career playing for Saracens.

I undertook specialist orthopaedic training in South East Thames including Guy’s and St Thomas’, Brighton and King’s College hospitals. I then went on to do my fellowship in 2011 in Australia for a year with Bill Walter, in the well renowned Mater Clinic. I came back to pursue a fellowship in young adult hip surgery with Marcus Bankes at Guy's and St Thomas’ before a further fellowship at St George's Hospital with Martin Bircher and Mark Rickman, specialising in pelvic and acetabular reconstruction. I have continued my research in young adult hips.

I continue to publish on hip and knee pathology and lecture on hip, knee and trauma.
