I am UK trained plastic and cosmetic surgeon, and previously a consultant plastic surgeon in the NHS specialising in cleft lip and palate surgery.
As an experienced, fully accredited plastic & reconstructive surgeon, I am on the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council (GMC) for plastic surgery. I am a full member of both the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) and the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS).
I use cutting-edge Crisalix 3D imaging for breast enlargement to show patients what they will look like post-surgery and help them choose implant size.
My surgical interests include all aspects of aesthetic/cosmetic surgery having completed two fellowships at the Royal Marsden & Harley Street, London completing the training interface group fellowship in cosmetic surgery. This was followed by the renowned British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS)/Scar free foundation fellowship in Southern England.
My undergraduate training was undertaken at Guys & St Thomas’ Hospital in London, having intercalated with a BSc first class in Physiology. I qualified as a doctor in 1999 and trained as a plastic surgeon undertaking postgraduate training in London, Oxford, Great Ormand Street, Addenbrookes, Cambridge and Salisbury. My overseas fellowships included training in Olso, Dallas, Texas & Toronto.
I completed higher degrees in surgical science (MSc) at Imperial College and a medical law degree (LLM) from De Montfort Law School. Subsequently, I was awarded the FRCS (Plast) in 2014 and became a Fellow of the European board of plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgeons (FEBOPRAS) in 2015.
Additionally, my other interest is LASER, skin lumps and skin/cancer surgery having completed the prestigious ‘Therapeutic use of LASER’ training interface fellowship in Swansea. I am competent in the use of all LASER skin treatments.
