I trained at the Royal Free and University College Medical School qualifying in 2003.
My specialty training was predominantly undertaken in Leicester, although I spent two years in Wessex. I gained a broad and varied experience in all aspects of infectious diseases working in an ethnically diverse inner-city environment. I undertook my Masters in Tropical Medicine and International Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine focusing upon Schistosomiasis. I also undertook a Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Leicester studying tuberculosis recurrence and methods of enhancing tuberculosis culture.
My clinical interests include general infectious diseases, tropical medicine, tuberculosis, human immunodeficiency virus infection and sexual health, surgical related infections, recurrent infections, and clinical microbiology.

I combine a patient-centered approach to medicine with compassionate and professional practice. I am an Infectious Diseases Physician with interests in complex infections, tropical medicine, HIV, tuberculosis and surgical infections. I have published on a range of infectious diseases in peer-reviewed journals.
I like to travel ethically, enjoy countryside walking with my dog, natural history, cycling, running and photography.
