Spire Parkway Hospital is offering a FREE FBC (Full Blood Count) blood test and mini haematology consultation as part of its commitment to supporting early detection and awareness of blood disorders.
About our event:
Spire Parkway Hospital is hosting a Free Blood Health Screening Event on Saturday 26th September 2026 from 9:00am to 4:00pm.
This event has been designed to provide information and access to specialist advice for individuals who may be experiencing symptoms that could be linked to underlying blood health concerns.
A Full Blood Count (FBC) is a simple blood test that can help detect conditions like anaemia, infections and other blood disorders.
Attendees will undergo a free FBC blood test followed by a 10-minute consultation with a Consultant Haematologist, providing an opportunity to discuss any symptoms, concerns, or questions they may have.
Common symptoms that may be worth discussing include:
Results from the FBC test will be shared directly with the attendee's GP to support ongoing care where appropriate.
Places are limited to 40 appointments.

Places are limited so booking is essential. Press the 'reserve a spot' and a member of our bookings team will give you a call to allocate you an appointment time.
You will be offered a complementary 10-minute slot between 9am - 4pm.

From M42 junction 5
Take the Solihull bypass (A41). Continue through the first set of traffic lights and turn right at the second set of lights into Yew Tree Lane, leading to Damson Parkway. The hospital is 200 yards along on the left hand side.
From A45 Coventry
Continue towards Birmingham until you reach the Holiday Inn on the right. At the traffic lights turn left signposted ‘Damson Wood’. Continue to the first roundabout and take the first exit. This is Damson Parkway - continue for a little under a mile and the hospital is on the right hand side.
From A45 Birmingham
Continue straight along until you reach the Holiday Inn on the left hand side. At the junction before the Holiday Inn, turn right signposted ‘Damson Wood’. Continue through to the first roundabout and take the first exit. This is Damson Parkway - continue for a little under a mile and the hospital is on the right hand side.
By train
Spire Parkway Hospital is near to both Birmingham International and Solihull train stations. Both stations are within a 10 minute taxi journey of the hospital.
