I have been a lymphoedema nurse specialist for 18 years. I was one of the first nurses to establish a lymphoedema service in an Acute Trust Hospital (QEH). I have a background in Oncology both medical and surgical; tissue viability and have a special interest in Lipoedema and its surgical management and lymph node transfer and its management.
Treatment includes: assessment, limb volume measurements; measurement for compression hosiery; skin care and exercise advise; Medical Lymphatic drainage; Kinesiotaping; Myofascial Release.
I have good working relationships with several eminent oncologists. I support the plastic surgeon Miss Dancey in Birmingham with the pre and post operative management of her Lipoedema and Lymph Node Transfer patients.

Spire Parkway Hospital is only able to provide Covid-19 tests to patients undergoing surgery at our hospital. Covid-19 testing or antibody tests are not available as a standalone service.
