I specialise in the management of neck lumps including benign and malignant. These include lymph nodes, thyroid, parathyroid and salivary glands. I have developed special techniques to manage patients with a feeling of a lump in the throat (globus). I offer specialist services in complex cases of swallowing disorders.
My NHS practice is based at Heartlands, Good Hope, Solihull and Queen Elizabeth hospitals.
Some of the principal treatments carried out by Mr Ijaz Ahmad at Spire include:
Ear Nose and Throat (ENT)
Spire Parkway Hospital is only able to provide Covid-19 tests to patients undergoing surgery at our hospital. Covid-19 testing or antibody tests are not available as a standalone service.
I spend my spare time with my family. I enjoy looking after my garden. My sporting hobbies are now limited to watching cricket.
