My clinical work includes nerve conduction studies and electromyography for various nerve entrapment syndromes such as carpal tunnel syndrome and ulnar neuropathy; peripheral neuropathies, motor neuron disease and muscle disorders.

I also perform single fibre EMG studies for myasthenia gravis, ambulatory EEG, evoked potentials (EP) and intro-operative monitoring procedures. My special interest is in nerve and muscle disorders.

I treat a number of clinical neurophysiology conditions and carry out neurophysiology diagnostic tests including motor neurone disease, myasthenia gravis, nerve conduction studies and electromyography (EMG), Peripheral nerve entrapments and radiculopathy.

I have been a Consultant in Clinical Neurophysiology at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham since 2013. I had previously been a Neurology Consultant overseas until 2005. I subsequently completed my Specialist Registrar training in Clinical Neurophysiology at Oxford and Cardiff with additional placements at the Bristol Royal Infirmary and Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital in London.

I take an active role in both undergraduate and postgraduate education.
