"The staff at Spire always put the patients' care first. Fantastic team with great work-ethics."
I regularly perform ureteroscopic (endoscopic) stone treatment (rigid and flexible ureteroscopy and laser fragmentation of stones), laparoscopic and robotic kidney and adrenal surgeries (including radical and partial nephrectomy, nephroureterectomy, pyeloplasty and adrenalectomy) and core urological procedures including flexible and rigid cystoscopy (examintaion of the bladder), benign prostate surgery/ TURP, penile and scrotal surgeries.
In addition to the management of general urological conditions, I have a subspecialty interest in the management of urinary tract stones (kidney stones, ureteric stones and bladder stones) including stone metablic assessment and prevention strategies. I also subspecialise in laparoscopic and robotic (minimally invasive) urological surgeries for both benign and malignant conditions affecting the kidneys and ureters.
I am a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust. I completed my urological training in Yorkshire region in 2016. I also underwent advanced fellowships in world-renowned centres in Europe and a post-CCT fellowship in minimally invasive surgery. During my training, I completed a master's degree (ChM) in Urology (with Distinction) from the University of Edinburgh and I was awarded the Henry Wade Medal as the best performing postgraduate student. I am a member of the local Stone and Cancer multidisciplinary teams (MDTs).
