Mr Kobus Pauw

Mr Pauw is a British born South African. He completed his Medical and Ophthalmology training at University of Stellenbosch in Cape Town, South Africa. After qualifying in Ophthalmology, Mr Pauw was in full time private practice in South Africa for eight years, before relocating to the UK. He was then appointed as Consultant Ophthalmologist at Pinderfields Hospital in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
Mr Pauw specialises in small incision sutureless cataract surgery, refractive laser eye surgery, eyelid surgery and strabismus surgery with adjustable sutures. He has presented numerous papers at national and international meetings on various ophthalmology topics.
He has completed more than 16,000 cataract and refractive procedures and more than 2,000 eyelid and strabismus procedures during his time in practice.
