I have been practicing in the field of General Surgery since 1991 and working as a Consultant Surgeon since 2000, with my UK consultant post commencing in 2007. My clinical practice is primarily focused on the management of gallstones and the repair of hernias, areas in which I have developed a particular interest. My NHS practice is based at Barnsley Hospital, where I was appointed in 2014 and I am currently the clinical lead for the surgical department.

Over the past two decades, my work has been dedicated to laparoscopic surgery. I have attended numerous advanced training courses, developing a high level of proficiency in minimally invasive techniques. To date, I have performed more than 2,300 laparoscopic gallbladder removals, making this one of the key pillars of my surgical practice.

Alongside my clinical commitments, I am actively involved in surgical education. I serve as a faculty member on laparoscopic training courses, where I contribute to the teaching and development of surgeons in gallbladder surgery and hernia repair.
