I am a Professor of paediatric ENT, with a sub-specialist interest in children's ear infections, hearing loss, glue ear, implantable hearing devices (Cochlear Implants and Bone Anchored Hearing Aids), snoring and tonsillitis in children, neck lumps in children, nasal blockage, nose bleeds, drooling and tongue ties.
I also see adults with ear problems such as tinnitus, ear infections and hearing loss.
At Spire Manchester Hospital, I offer a one-stop ENT clinic for children and young people, where patients will receive a specialist consultation, audiology assessment and results all in the same visit.Â
I'm passionate about providing patient dedicated, patient centred care to ensure both children and parents are involved in the whole process and leave clinic feeling cared for and listened to.
I have a national and international reputation within the ENT specialty for delivering first class, evidence based care. Â
I'm proud to work with specialist paediatric anaesthetists, speech and language therapists, educational psychologists, and audiologists where needed, to provide a complete service for each of my patients.
My research interests compliment my clinical sub-specialisations and include hearing loss in childhood, hearing implants and airway obstruction in children. I will also see adult patients with ear and hearing problems.
I have been awarded the Outstanding Patient Experience 2025 badge from Doctify.
