I am a consultant liver, pancreas and gallbladder surgeon with a specialist interest in hernia, adrenal and spleen surgery and in particular keyhole (laparoscopic) surgery. My aim is to provide expert surgical care to my patients whilst taking a holistic approach to their illness.
I treat all manner of liver, pancreas and gallbladder problems, including acute and chronic pancreatitis and have performed both laparoscopic and open gallbladder operations and open and keyhole hernia operations for the last 10 years.
I graduated from University of Leicester Medical School in 2001 and have been working as a consultant HPB surgeon at the Leicester General Hospital since 2015. I am currently the chair of the Leicester hepatobiliary and pancreatic cancer multidisciplinary team.
I undertook most of my surgical training in Leicester and then spent one year each in Adelaide and Oxford undertaking prestigious fellowships.
I have published widely and presented at national and international meetings along with authoring book chapters.
