Treatment restrictions due to coronavirus (COVID-19)

As part of our longstanding relationship, we are proud to be dedicating our resources to the NHS at this important time. As a result many of our treatments are currently suspended and we are reviewing all planned procedures and consultations. We are making every effort to talk to impacted patients and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Professional profile

I am a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with a special clinical interest in child and adolescent depression, personality disorders, attachment disorders, gender identity disorders, psychosomatic/liaison psychiatry and wellbeing and safeguarding of children and families. I use a variety of specialised individual and systemic therapeutic approaches (Psychodynamic psychotherapy, Interpersonal psychotherapy, Mentalisation-Based treatment, Family therapy) and psychopharmacology in preventing and treating mental health disorders in children and adolescents.

I am passionate about the prevention of mental illness and mental health issues and early intervention with children, young people and families.

I am the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Lead on the Care Pathways for depression, personality disorders and attachment disorders, and CAMHS County Lead Consultant.

I lead on the Trust-wide 'Think Family-Whole Family Clinical Audit', which is underpinning significant change in clinical practice, such as family-focused assessment and practice, and multi-agency collaboration in supporting families. Both the training programme and the audit have been published in a number of peer reviewed journals.

I have written a range of specialised CAMHS and safeguarding reviews, protocols and procedures, policy and strategy papers, clinical audits and papers in peer reviewed journals. I have organised, chaired and presented at a number of regional, national and international workshops and conferences.
