I am a highly respected consultant endocrinologist. I specialise in all aspects of general and specialist endocrinology, furthermore I have expertise in dealing with complex type 1 diabetes and diabetes technology, antenatal diabetes, and thyroid and parathyroid problems, hormone replacement therapy and management of endocrine treatment in transgender individuals, addison's disease, adrenal gland disorders, hypogonadism, pituitary gland disorders and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).

I achieved my primary medical qualifications from University of Pune, India and then went on to do a post graduate degree in internal medicine where I developed a specialist interest in endocrinology and diabetes. I successfully completed specialist training in endocrinology and diabetes in the UK earning my CCT accreditation in both fields as well as in internal medicine.

I have focused my research on adrenal endocrinology, diabetes, transgender endocrinology, and antenatal care of endocrine conditions.

I also serve as the lead endocrinologist at the Nottingham Centre for transgender health and support transgender endocrinology care teams in Manchester and the East of England.

I firmly believe in a holistic approach to my patients' care. I listen to patient concerns and involve them in shared decision making. My expertise and commitment to patient care make myself a trusted figure in the field of endocrinology.
