I am a Leicester based paediatrician with broad experience and training in general paediatrics as well as in my specific field of interest.
My main clinical interests are related to my specialty experience in endocrinology and diabetes and my specific experience in childhood growth and puberty related problems, as well as insulin pumps and CGMS.
I trained in the UK, mainly at Great Ormond Street hospital, but have worked in Oxford and at the Sydney Children's Hospital in Australia gaining a broad experience in paediatric endocrinology.
My research experience is in children's Type 1 Diabetes. I believe that an important part of being a paediatrician is to be approachable and non-threatening in order to gain the trust of the child. I aim to achieve this whilst also providing whole family centred care.

I am a keen dinghy sailor as well as enjoying tennis and golf. When time permits, I dabble with portrait painting and like active holidays abroad skiing and walking.
