I am Consultant Paediatrician with a subspecialty in Paediatric Cardiology. With over 12 years of experience in managing childhood illnesses, I provide care for newborns, children, and adolescents up to the age of 18.
My clinical expertise covers a wide range of general paediatric conditions, including: abdominal pain, allergies, anaemia, asthma/wheeze, coeliac disease, constipation, continence issues, eczema, epilepsy, fainting, feeding difficulties, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GORD), headaches/migraines, infections (e.g. chest infections, skin infections), recurrent abdominal pain and urinary tract infections.
In addition to my general paediatric expertise, I have significant expertise in paediatric cardiology, managing conditions such as: chest pain, congenital heart diseases, family history and cardiac screening, heart murmurs, palpitations and postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS).
I am also an Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Nottingham, School of Medicine, where I regularly lecture on paediatrics and paediatric cardiology. As a Newborn Life Support Instructor, I am passionate about teaching and mentoring aspiring doctors and paediatricians. With a Master’s Degree in improving healthcare quality and patient safety, I apply my expertise to enhance clinical care and support families and healthcare organisations in delivering the safest and most effective services, both locally and nationally.
