'Inspired to help' volunteer scheme at Spire Leeds

22 May 2014

Have you recently retired, are between jobs, or simply want an opportunity to get out, meet people and do something positive and rewarding?

Do you have time on your hands and want to put 'something back' into society?

If so - volunteer with the new 'Inspired to help' scheme and make a real difference to the experience of patients and visitors, at a time when they need to be calm and relaxed.

There are many ways you can contribute - from welcoming patients when they arrive for appointments and working on the ward, day-care suite or out-patients.

You can volunteer as little or as often as you like, to suit your own schedule and lifestyle. We only ask that you commit to a minimum of three hours a week.

There are three, three-hour volunteer sessions each day on a Monday-Friday and one three-hour session on a Saturday morning.

You can be assured that you will be doing something rewarding, different and most of all valued - and in doing so you will become part of the Spire community.

Training will be provided so that you can comfortably fit into the Spire environment and the 'Inspired to help' co-ordinator will support you wherever necessary, along with Spire Leeds staff.
