Spire Leeds Hospital is one of the region’s largest hospitals for ophthalmic (eye) services, working with a team of 8 consultant ophthalmic surgeons – many of whom have national and international reputations.

Patients from all over Yorkshire and beyond can see one of our consultant specialists within 48 hours. We have eight ophthalmic out-patient clinics each week, Monday to Saturday.

The hospital also has an highly experienced orthoptist on site.

Patients can have an extensive range of diagnostic eye tests undertaken in our dedicated out-patient eye suite.

Surgery is undertaken in a clean-air operating theatre within our operating theatre complex.
