MBChB, DRCOG, DFFP
I qualified from the University of Manchester Medical School in 1992. I have worked in both hospital and General Practice settings in the UK and Australia, and have over 26 years’ experience as a GP, including time as a partner in an NHS practice.
For the past 20 years, I have worked exclusively in the private sector, developing a diverse and rewarding portfolio career. This has enabled me to gain extensive experience across a wide range of medical specialties.
As well as General Practice, I have experience in comprehensive health assessments with a focus on physical and mental lifestyle factors. My background includes work within the criminal mental health service, forensic medicine specialising in sexual offence and domestic violence cases, medical aesthetics, medicolegal medicine, and occupational health medicine.
I am multilingual and fluent in Urdu and Punjabi. I have extensive experience working with people from all walks of life, ranging from inner‑city communities in Manchester and London, to rural areas of the Australian outback, and suburban populations across the UK. I am experienced in caring for both adults and children.
As medicine is constantly evolving, my work is underpinned by continual professional development and staying up to date with the latest clinical advances. I strongly believe in a holistic, patient‑centred approach to General Practice, where individuals are actively involved in all aspects of their care and shared decision‑making.
