I am a Consultant in Clinical Neurophysiology with over 15 years’ experience at consultant level, caring for both adults and children with a wide range of neurological conditions. I specialise in diagnosing and managing disorders affecting the nerves, muscles and brain, using advanced investigations such as electromyography (EMG), nerve conduction studies and electroencephalography (EEG).

I have particular expertise in paediatric electromyography. In addition to diagnostic services, I provide botulinum toxin treatment for movement disorders and spasticity in adults. I am known for my thorough, patient‑focused approach and for explaining complex conditions in a clear and reassuring way, helping patients and families feel informed and confident about their care.

I specialise in a wide range of diagnostic tests and treatments for conditions affecting the brain, nerves and muscles. My expertise includes electromyography (EMG), nerve conduction studies (NCS), electroencephalography (EEG) and evoked potentials, as well as more specialised techniques such as single‑fibre EMG and facial nerve studies.

I have a particular interest in paediatric electromyography, supporting children with neuromuscular disorders. In addition to providing diagnostic services, I offer botulinum toxin injections for the treatment of movement disorders and muscle stiffness (spasticity) in adults. My practice is focused on accurate diagnosis and tailored management of conditions such as nerve injuries, muscle disorders, epilepsy and other neurological conditions.

I have held a number of national and international leadership roles within my field. I am the Past President of the British Society for Clinical Neurophysiology (2020–2023) and played a key role as Convenor of the European Congress of Clinical Neurophysiology held in London in 2025.

I am an active member of several professional organisations, including the Royal College of Physicians, the British Peripheral Nerve Society, the British Neurotoxin Network, the International League Against Epilepsy, the British Medical Association, and the Medical Defence Union.

My research interests include general clinical neurophysiology, paediatric electromyography, Parkinson’s disease, and the use of botulinum toxin in movement disorders and spasticity. I am also interested in the emerging role of artificial intelligence in neurophysiology and have contributed to publications in these areas, reflecting my ongoing commitment to advancing patient care and innovation within my specialty.
