Ms Morrison came in for gastric bypass surgery with consultant bariatric surgeon Mr Simon Monkhouse
"I came to an open evening to see Simon and the team in October 2014. Simon and his team were great and very supportive. I then booked an appointment and my journey began. I had my bypass in December 2014 and every day since I have felt better and better.
Simon, Kay and the rest of the team are there to help which they have. I am so happy right now as I haven’t felt this good for a very long time.
When I had my operation the nurses were great and they couldn’t do enough. I would recommend this hospital to anyone who is looking to have a band, bypass or sleeve.
I’m on mushy food at the moment and every stage has been fine.
The thing or goal for me was to wear my wedding rings and in just two weeks I have managed it.
I am looking forward to the next stage of this life-changing surgery."
