In addition, I have been appointed as an Honorary Consultant at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust and I am responsible for the delivery of vascular services at Epsom Hospital.
I undertook my undergraduate medical training at the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa. Once qualified I emigrated to the United Kingdom in 1998, where I continued my surgical training in the South West Thames region and at the Royal London Hospital.
I undertook postgraduate vascular research at the University of Sheffield, investigating clinical recovery in a model of chronic moderate ischaemia and was awarded a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree for this work.
