Dr Santhosh Narat is a Consultant Haematologist at Spire Gatwick Park Hospital. He has been in post as a Consultant Haematologist at Worthing and Southlands for the past five years. Dr Narat’s aim is to deliver high quality comprehensive care in general haematology, specifically in haematological cancers. He provides consultative services in general haematology, treatment of conditions including lymphoma, leukaemia, myeloma and blood clot disorders. After his basic medical training (India,1992), Dr Narat undertook three years of general medicine training (Kerala, India) completing a medical doctorate degree (MD) and SHO rotation at Derbyshire Royal Infirmary, becoming a member of Royal College of Physicians in 1997. He undertook specialist training in haematology on the North Thames rotation and attained FRCPath in 2003.
Dr Narat engages in improvements in patient safety in the Trust specifically in blood transfusion (clinical lead) and reduction in blood clots associated with hospital.
Spire Gatwick Park Hospital is only able to provide Covid-19 tests to patients undergoing surgery at our hospital. Covid-19 testing or antibody tests are not available as a standalone service.
