I am a consultant plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgeon based in Reading and Oxford. I am an NHS consultant in the Oxford University Hospitals and the Royal Berkshire Hospital and am a full member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS), British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) and the Rhinoplasty Society of Europe (RSE).

Following medical training at Cambridge University, I trained in plastic surgery in Sydney, London and East Anglia. Thereafter I completed national and international specialist fellowships in breast surgery, eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty, microsurgery, head and neck surgery and cosmetic surgery (London, Australia, USA) including the prestigious Johnson and Johnson Aesthetic Surgery fellowship. I have published research articles in these areas and as well as a masters degree (MD) in skin cancer, I completed postgraduate diplomas in aesthetic surgery and medical education. I maintain my passion for contemporary best practice by regularly visiting and liaising with world-class surgical colleagues in Europe, North America and Australia.

I have a sensitive, modern, evidence-based approach to my practice and offer a comprehensive range of cosmetic and reconstructive solutions. My cosmetic facial surgery practice includes facial rejuvenation (browlift, facelift, necklift, eyelid surgery) and rhinoplasty. My breast and torso practice includes reconstruction after pregnancy, weight loss and surgery (breast reduction, breast augmentation, mastopexy and abdominoplasty). Many of these operations may be suitable for day case surgery under sedation and local anaesthesia.

My broad NHS practice based in Oxford and Reading has a particular specialist focus on scar management, skin cancer (including nose reconstruction, eyelid surgery and sentinel node biopsy for melanoma), head and neck surgery, abdominal wall reconstruction and breast surgery. I contribute to regional MDT management of skin cancer, head and neck cancer and facial palsy.

I have published over 20 peer-reviewed research articles spanning the breadth of my cosmetic and reconstructive practice. My current research interests include the functional outcomes in complex head and neck reconstruction and aesthetic outcomes in reconstructive rhinoplasty.
