I am a Consultant ENT Surgeon at Sheffield Children’s Hospital, Royal Hallamshire Hospital and Bradford Royal Infirmary with a private practice at Spire Claremont Hospital.

In my clinical practice, I assess and treat a wide range of ear, nose and throat conditions in both adults and children. This includes the management of hearing loss, tinnitus, dizziness, ear infections, earwax build‑up and perforated eardrums, with treatments such as microsuction, grommet insertion for glue ear, and hearing implantation including cochlear implantation. I also manage nasal and sinus conditions including blocked nose, nose bleeds, nasal fractures, sinus disease treated with functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS), septoplasty, functional rhinoplasty and cosmetic nose reshaping. In addition, I treat snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea, swallowing and voice problems, neck lumps, and throat symptoms such as a sensation of a lump in the throat, using investigations including laryngoscopy. My practice further includes adult tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy, pinnaplasty for protruding ears, and the management of lateral skull base tumours.

I see patients with general ENT problems with a subspecialist interest in otology (conditions of the ear,) neuro-otology (conditions of the inner ear eg dizziness,) hearing implantation including cochlear implantation and tumours affecting the lateral skull base eg acoustic neuroma.

I graduated from the University of Edinburgh Medical School. My higher surgical training took place on the Leeds and Sheffield training programmes during which I undertook research which culminated in a MD higher research degree. After completing my training I undertook two prestigious fellowships in Toronto, Canada, working at both Toronto General Hospital and the Hospital for Sick Children.
