I have had extensive experience of over two decades in managing a range of Neurosurgical conditions affecting brain and spine. These include head injuries, brain haemorrhage, stroke, brain aneurysms, arterio-venous malformations, trigeminal neuralgia, hydrocephalus, various brain and spine tumours. In addition, he treats more common conditions such as cervical and lumbar disc diseases, spinal canal stenosis and other degenerative spinal conditions.
I completed my initial medical education and specialist Neurosurgical training in Western India, and have been working in the NHS since 1995. I am a Fellow of Royal College of Surgeons of England and passed my inter-collegiate neurosurgical specialty board examination in 1997. From 2000, I am employed in the NHS as a Consultant Neurosurgeon.
I have published over 80 academic articles over the years. I am an Honorary Lecturer with University of Sheffield and am regularly involved in various teaching activities within the UK and overseas.
I am regularly instructed by legal teams in the British Isles and abroad for expert medicolegal Neurosurgical opinions in personal injury, negligence cases and disciplinary matters involving individual practitioners.
