Our leading urology consultants have extensive experience in assessing and treating even the most complex urology cases. They have a wealth of experience from their local NHS posts where they practice at the University Hospital of Wales, or the Royal Glamorgan Hospital. Urology is a core speciality at Spire Cardiff Hospital, therefore we offer patients a wide range of diagnostic tests and treatment options. All of our diagnostic tests are performed with state of the art technology with the help of an experienced radiology team. Our out-patient diagnostic tests include blood tests, urine tests, uro-dynamics, ultra-sound, CT and MRI.
Treatments
Often symptoms may be treated conservatively with medication or physiotherapy. Your consultant will take time to discuss your diagnosis and ensure you are fully informed regarding your treatment options. If this includes a surgical procedure you can rest assured that Spire Cardiff Hospital performs a high volume of urological procedures for a wide range of conditions.
We offer treatment for a range of conditions including:
