In the run-up to this autumn’s COP26 conference, Spire Cardiff Hospital has launched a major drive to become carbon neutral by 2030.

Over 1,500 ophthalmology NHS patients have received sight-saving treatment as part of a landmark partnership between Spire Cardiff Hospital and Cardiff and Vale University Health Board during the COVID-19 outbreak.

A landmark agreement between Cardiff and Vale UHB and Spire Healthcare is enabling patients with cancer and other urgent conditions to receive treatment at Spire’s Cardiff hospital, allowing the Health Board’s main sites such as the University Hospital of Wales and University Hospital Llandough to focus on caring for people with COVID-19.

Spire Cardiff Hospital is excited to announce the appointment of new Hospital Director Fiona Conway. Fiona has over 12 years’ experience of working in the independent sector after previously working in Spire’s private Oncology Centre in Bristol, where she oversaw the successful transformation of the business and subsequent partnership with Genesis Care.
