I have been a consultant orthopaedic surgeon since 2007. I am a specialist knee surgeon and have particular expertise in knee replacement, ligament reconstruction, patellofemoral disorders and adolescent knee problems.
As a specialist knee surgeon, I treat all aspects of knee surgery and perform over 300 knee operations per year. My specific interests include arthroscopic surgery, ligament reconstruction, primary and revision knee replacement, patella disorders, osteotomy, adolescent knee problems and treatment of knee arthritis in young and active patients.
To date I have performed over 800 primary knee replacements, 100 revision knee replacements, 350 knee ligament reconstructions, 200 patellofemoral operations and over 1,200 knee arthroscopies.
I have been the lead knee clinician for the Cardiff and Vale University Health Board since March 2012.
I am also Honorary clinical teacher at Cardiff University.

I am heavily involved in research, with over 40 papers in peer reviewed journals and over 50 national and international presentations. I am also a reviewer for The Knee and The American Journal of Sports Medicine.
