I completed my medical, surgical and higher urological training in the North East of England and further sub-specialist training in robotic surgery and pelvic oncology at the Jules Bordet Institute, Brussels and University Hospital of Leuven, Belgium. During this time I received a number of British and European awards including The Keith Yates Gold Medal Award for first place in the UK FRCS Urology examination.
In June 2014, I received a national award from the British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS) in recognition of outstanding performance as a Consultant Urologist.
My NHS practice is based at the University Hospital of Wales where I am the lead clinician for robotic surgery and I run two outpatient clinics per week: General Urology and multidisciplinary Uro-Oncology.
