I am a Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Cardiff and Vale UHB since June 2009. I graduated from Calcutta University and then came to UK for postgraduate training. This included Specialist Registrar posts in Leeds and Nottingham before I moved to South Wales in 2005.
As a specialist in Gynaecology, I am trained to deal with all general gynaecology problems. In addition to this, I have received specialist training in minimal access surgery and ultrasound.
I have completed an MSc in Obstetrics and Gynaecological Ultrasound from Cardiff University with distinction. This has helped me in the one-stop management of many gynaecological conditions. I run the Pelvic Mass Clinic along with the Gynae-oncologists.
I have great interest in teaching and training and am local supervisor for ultrasound training. My other interests include the management of menstrual disorders, early pregnancy problems and minimal access surgery.
I am known to provide individualised patient care and believe in a joint approach with the patient in decision making.
Some of the principal treatments carried out by Dr Anju Sinha at Spire include:
