The implications of this accomplishment are far-reaching, delivering on the hospital’s promise of a positive impact on patients' well-being and overall hospital experience. Quality nutrition plays a pivotal role in the recovery and well-being of individuals receiving medical care. Food hygiene ratings, typically associated with dining establishments, also extends to the healthcare sector, ensuring that the standards of hospital food are of a high level, meeting all the requirements set out by the EHO. A new rating is given each time a facility or establishment is inspected by a food safety officer from their local authority.

This result reflects the hard work, consistency and standards demonstrated every day by our hospital team.
