Private patients

Insured patients

A referral letter is generally required from you before any insured patient can be seen by a consultant. Patients can call our bookings team on 01223 266 900 to arrange a convenient appointment.

Please advise your patient to contact their insurer to make sure they are covered for their appointment to see their chosen consultant.

Self-funding patients

We can provide pricing information and details of consultant specialists for your patient together with appointment availability. For more information or for a guide price please call our customer service advisors on 01223 266 929 or contact us by email info@spirecambridgelea.com.

NHS referrals

Referrals for NHS patients must be sent through the online e-referral service (formerly choose and book) by visiting www.ebs.ncrs.nhs.uk. This is the best practice for us to receive NHS referrals, as patients will receive appointments in a timely manner and it is an efficient system.

We no longer accept fax referrals for NHS patients.

For details on which services are available to NHS patients please contact our NHS Coordinator on 01233 266 973.
