I have been a consultant neurosurgeon in Cambridge for two years. I have an interest in surgery for degenerate spine and disc problems. I also specialise in surgery for brain tumours, Parkinson's disease and epilepsy.
I underwent neurosurgical training in London culminating in a Fellowship in functional neurosurgery. Before coming to Cambridge I worked as a consultant trauma neurosurgeon.
I am the lead surgeon in international research programmes investigating novel surgical techniques for the treatment of Parkinson's disease, such as stem cell transplantation and gene therapy.
