"I enjoy operating at Spire Cambridge Lea - the equipment is first class and the staff experienced and caring."
I started as a consultant neurosurgeon in Cambridge in 2014. I have an interest in surgery for degenerate spine and disc problems. I also specialise in surgery for brain tumours, Parkinson's disease and epilepsy.
I underwent neurosurgical training in London culminating in a Fellowship in functional neurosurgery. Before coming to Cambridge I worked as a consultant trauma neurosurgeon.
I am the lead surgeon in international research programmes investigating novel surgical techniques for the treatment of Parkinson's disease, such as stem cell transplantation and gene therapy.
Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital is only able to provide Covid-19 tests to patients undergoing surgery at our hospital. Covid-19 testing or antibody tests are not available as a standalone service.
