I am a highly experienced Consultant Neurosurgeon at Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital, specialising in spinal surgery and complex conditions of the brain and nervous system. I offer private consultations and treatment in Cambridge at Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital and King’s Lynn at Spire King's Lynn Clinic. I provide expert assessment and surgical care for patients with conditions affecting the spine, brain and nerves, with a particular focus on back pain, neck pain, sciatica and spinal stenosis.

My clinical practice focuses on the assessment and treatment of degenerative spinal conditions, including slipped discs, spinal stenosis and nerve compression. I also have sub‑specialist expertise in neurovascular conditions, such as brain aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) and cavernomas, as well as Chiari malformation.

I treat patients who have long‑standing back or neck pain, worsening neurological symptoms, or conditions that have not improved with non‑surgical treatment. Where surgery is required, I aim to use the safest and most effective techniques tailored to each individual.

I work closely with a highly experienced multidisciplinary team to ensure each patient receives individualised care from diagnosis through to recovery.

I offer a wide range of spinal treatments, including surgery for lumbar and cervical disc problems, nerve compression and spinal instability. My work includes treatment for sciatica, spinal stenosis, cervical myelopathy and degenerative spinal disease. I provide clear advice on both surgical and non‑surgical options and only recommend surgery when it is likely to offer meaningful improvement.

I assess and treat patients with brain aneurysms and vascular abnormalities, including AVMs and cavernomas. I am experienced in managing complex neurovascular conditions and work closely with specialist teams to deliver safe, evidence‑based care.

Alongside my private practice, I work as a consultant neurosurgeon at Cambridge University Teaching Hospitals, where I manage both routine and complex neurosurgical conditions.

In addition to my clinical work I enjoy providing teaching and training to both undergraduate medical students from the University of Cambridge and to post graduate doctors in training.

I am a published author in my field with papers on neurovascular and spinal topics and I am a reviewer for The British Journal of Neurosurgery.
