I am a Consultant Gastroenterologist of 18 years' experience. I am an accomplished endoscopist performing 500 gastroscopy and 400 colonoscopy a year and am an accredited bowel cancer screening colonoscopist.
I have vast experience in a variety of gastro-intestinal conditions. To date I have performed over 10,000 gastroscopy and 5,000 colonoscopies.
My specialist interests are colonoscopy and inflammatory bowel disease.
I hold a managerial position in my NHS trust, being associate director of gastroenterology, hepatology, endoscopy and bowel cancer screening.

I enjoy coaching football and am currently managing an under-16 team. I very much enjoy spending time with my wife and three grown-up children. I like to keep fit at the gym and am a keen cook! Music and dancing is also important to me.
