A senior gastroenterologist practising in Cambridge for over 10 years with a national profile in intestinal diseases. As well as an extensive experience of diagnostic and therapeutic gastroscopy, colonoscopy and ERCP, I have provided a regional video capsule service since 2004.
Areas of clinical expertise include management of abdominal pain, upper gastrointestinal disease, inflammatory bowel conditions (including Coeliac disease), pancreatic disorders and nutritional aspects of gastrointestinal diseases. I lead the regional intestinal failure service with an interest in intestinal transplantation.
I chair the Addenbrooke’s Hospital nutrition steering group and the Anglia Nutrition network and have served on specialist committees in the Royal College of Physicians and British Society of Gastroenterology. I also organise the Eastern regional gastroenterology training programme.
