At Spire Bristol Hospital, our highly skilled consultants and expert aftercare team offer gastric bypass surgery to help you lose weight if severe obesity is affecting your health.

Spire Bristol Hospital is a well-established private hospital in the region providing excellent care and treatments. We have a choice of bariatric surgeons (consultants specialising in weight loss surgery) who perform gastric bypass surgery to help you lose weight when diet and exercise haven’t worked. Your consultant will work alongside a psychologist and a dietitian to ensure you get the right treatment and aftercare.
Your dietitian is available for up to 10 appointments to offer you advice and a diet plan for your personal needs.
It's a common operation to have done privately, and our inclusive prices and access to payment plans make it easy and more affordable, even if you don’t have medical insurance.
