I undertake the remit of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery including facial trauma treatment of congenital deformity. I carry out oral surgery including wisdom teeth removal, soft tissue biopsies and osseointegrated dental implants.
I have particular interest in the management of head and neck cancer and its surgical reconstruction, including management of salivary glands and thyroid disease, and treatment of skin cancer of the head and neck.
I am on the General Medical Council specialist register for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Having attained undergraduate qualification in both medicine and dentistry, I undertook a period of General Surgery training followed by specialist training in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery predominately in the South West of England. My experience was further enhanced by undertaking a one year fellowship in Head & Neck Surgery at the Sydney Head and Neck Cancer Institute.
