I am an experienced laparoscopic upper GI and general surgeon at the Broomfield and Southend University Hospitals. I have undergone surgical training in various institutes in Kent, Surrey and London.
After working to acquire a Masters in Surgical Practice from the University of Kent, I have been working as an Upper GI and general surgical consultant since 2017 before moving to the Mid and South Essex NHS trust.
I am interested in innovations and quality improvement in surgical practice and minimally invasive surgery and has published numerous publications in peer reviewed journals.
At the Broomfield and Southend Hospitals, he performs elective and emergency benign upper GI and general surgical procedures. He has performed more than 3000 laparoscopic gallbladder surgery and more than 3000 laparoscopic groin hernia surgeries.
In addition to my clinical work, I am involved with formal and informal teaching of junior doctors and medical students from Kent and Medway and Essex.
