I grew up as a child in West Sussex and went to school in East Grinstead. I studied at University College and Middlesex School of Medicine, where I gained a first class honours BSc in anatomy and neuroscience. I qualified as a doctor in 1993. Following my general surgical training at St George's Hospital, Tooting, I completed a research degree (MD) at the RAFT Institute for plastic surgical research in 2000. I then started as a plastic surgery registrar on the Pan Thames training scheme taking him to Mount Vernon Hospital, the Royal Free Hospital and the Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead. I then completed a fellowship in hand surgery in Sydney Australia, the aesthetic (cosmetic) fellowship at the McIndoe Surgical Centre and a microsurgical fellowship at the Queen Victoria Hospital. I am on the specialist GMC register as an accredited plastic and reconstructive surgeon and am a consultant at the Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead. I am the breast team lead surgeon for the hospital.
I have specialist interests in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. They include: bilateral breast augmentation, breast reduction, breast uplift, breast asymmetry, all forms of breast reconstruction including DIEP flap breast reconstruction, tummy-tuck surgery, liposuction, massive weight loss surgery. Facial aesthetic procedures including: non-surgical rejuvenation, prominent ear surgery, eye bag surgery, rhinoplasty, skin cancer surgery, scar revision. Trauma reconstruction.
I pride himself on being a local man and believe it is extremely important to put my clients at ease from their very first meeting. My meticulous attention to detail combines my surgical passions with my artistic flair.
