Varicose vein assessment clinic
One stop assessment for recommending treatments for varicose veins.
Our Varicose Vein Assessment Clinic is for self-funding patients who wish to have their varicose veins seen and scanned by our experts to recommended a treatment on how to remove them.
What does the clinic provide?
Our assessment clinic includes:
- A consultation with our Consultant Vascular Surgeon Mr Karim El Sakka
- A same-day doppler ultrasound scan from specialist vascular scientist Dr Darren Cheal
- An immediate follow-up with Mr El Sakka to discuss your scan results and treatment options
You will be provided with fixed price quote for your recommended treatment(s) after the consultation and you'll be given the opportunity to book the treatment at a time that suits you if you wish to proceed.
Do I need a referral?
We are happy to see patients without a referral from their GP.
What treatments are available?
We offer both invasive and non-invasive treatments for varicose veins including:
- Foam sclerotherapy
- Radiofrequency ablation
- Surgical vein stripping
The cost of treatment can vary depending on your individual needs. Once your treatment options have been discussed, the hospital will be able to provide you with a quote for your treatment.
