I have been an ENT Consultant and Facial Plastic Surgeon based in the South East of England for 15 years. I am an honorary senior lecturer at the Brighton and Sussex medical school – lecturing both nationally and internationally and sit on the board of the facial Plastic Surgery UK. My specialist interests are rhinoplasty, endoscopic sinus surgery, skin cancer and pinnaplasty but I have a variety of other areas that I practice in, including; sinus surgery, sleep disorders / snoring, rhinology, allergy and hearing loss.
I am an ENT consultant and Facial Plastic Surgeon at Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust. I grew up in Africa and, after gaining my medical degree, and was a flying doctor for a few years before training in surgery and emigrating to the UK in 1994. I then trained as a specialist ENT surgeon in the North East before undertaking a facial plastic surgery fellowship and board exams in Europe and the USA.
I was appointed to my consultant post in 2003. I work in Worthing, Brighton and Haywards Heath, delivering an advanced rhinology, sinus and facial plastic surgery service. My interests are those of rhinoplasty, nasal reconstruction, facial reconstruction and pinnaplasty. I also manage sinonasal disease both medically and endoscopically. In addition to my ENT qualifications, I have advanced endoscopic sinus diplomas, plus I am fellowship trained in facial plastic surgery in both Europe and the US.
I currently sit on the Facial Plastic Surgery board of ENT-UK. I am an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Brighton and Sussex Medical School, teaching ENT and facial plastics both locally and nationally. I travel nationally and internationally, lecturing on rhinoplasty and nasal reconstruction.
